The Drive with Big Al & CJ LIVE in studio! Al can’t stop laughing about the time he boo’ed CJ off the stage at karaoke, and the guys remember a Cincinnati story and a wedding story. Congrats to the Rockies after locking down six in a row, and two in a row against the Cubs in Chicago. The NBA Finals continue tonight in Cleveland, and Big Al & CJ make their picks.

Al is excited because the NBA Finals have the barbershop buzzing. The guys discuss The Gospel According to Mac & CJ’s executive production work on ESPN’s 30-for-30 story on the Colorado Buffs & Sal Aunese. Al says that was the first time he had been asked about Sal since everything took place. C.J. compares Paxton Lynch to JaMarcus Russell after the high draft pick the Broncos spent on him, and Al can’t believe his ears.

Big Al & CJ gauge where Paxton Lynch is in his progression from year-one in the NFL as a Denver Broncos quarterback. CJ says Big Al is not completely bought in yet, and Al explains why he’s not. CJ thinks Trevor Siemian is capable of winning a Super Bowl with Denver, but we must see more. Also, a minor league for football is considered to improve aspiring NFL quarterbacks & get them ready for a faster game than they were playing in college.

The guys discuss what happened with Kevin Durant, and debate if he’s played on simply average teams. CJ says if KD was the greatest in the world, he would have elevated OKC over GSW last year. Al says Westbrook needs the ball or he’s not happy, and that hurt Kevin Durant. Also, Big Al says CJ knows Durant is the best player in basketball, but wants to be controversial today.
