DMac says the Broncos would be silly not to look into technology like virtual reality & robot tackling dummies, as it would benefit the quarterbacks the most. The guys agree the Broncos QBs need more work, and everything is the same everywhere you go. The police had to wake up Tiger Woods at the wheel over the weekend in Florida, and he blew .00’s despite getting a DUI relating to a bad reaction to prescription medication according to Tiger. Also, Al & DMac touch on the curious case of Terry Frei and the 140 characters that cost him his position at the Denver Post.
Some flexibility is starting to form at the swing tackle position, as Sambrailo, Bolles, Stephenson & Watson battle it out. Al says there is enough film out now to feel confident in cutting Schofield, and DMac touches on the tough offensive day at practice & Vance Joseph’s thoughts on what practice is for. Cecil Lammey joins the show to tell Big Al & DMac we could be looking at a rookie as our fourth cornerback in the secondary this year, with new addition Brendan Langley battling it out with Lorenzo Doss behind the likes of Bradley Roby, Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib. Listen to the interview HERE! Also, the guys are on opposite sides when it comes to Buster Posey laying back & making business decisions & picking up Elvis Dumervil in the wake of Shaq Barrett’s hip injury.
Not a worry in the world as summer approaches, and Al mentions how many fans nationally have likely forgotten about the Broncos drafting Paxton Lynch. DMac talks about the fitness level of guys like Adam Gotsis searching for reps, and the guys discuss Derek Wolfe’s early struggles in the Broncos microwave system. Also, the Pittsburgh Penguins take Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final after P.K. Subban’s goal in the crease is taken away & DMac is disgusted with Hunter Strickland’s sportsmanship.
