The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Vance Joseph says he likes the raw emotion & having a little fun out there is okay from time to time, because it’s hard to score in this league. Thomas Harding of MLB.com joins the show to talk about Bud Black’s headache as everyone on the Rockies gets healthy. Troy Renck of Denver7 joins the show to discuss the Broncos getting the perfect tonic at the right time, and the opportunity for Denver to jump on Demaryius Thomas’ back as he looks like a new man.
Sheldon Richardson is relieved to see Brandon Marshall go, and Big Al scratches his head considering Richardson & Marshall were on different sides of the ball. Big Al highlights what happens to NFL quarterbacks when they can’t make the throw, and DMac tells everyone what was the problem with Tim Tebow. Al says Tebow worked as hard as anybody, and nobody in football stays still. Troy Renck of Denver7 joins the show to discuss the Broncos getting the perfect tonic at the right time, and the opportunity for Denver to jump on Demaryius Thomas’ back as he looks like a new man. DMac tells Troy he’s been impressed watching DT look healthy, and Troy says you get hit more as a big guy. Looking at the QB’s, DMac asks who had the better Day 1, and Troy says Trevor Siemian’s encyclopedia knowledge of the playbook will keep Paxton from winning the job unless he can get in games. Listen to the interview HERE!
Big Al & DMac know the Broncos must get faster on offense if they expect to compete in ’17. DMac mentions all the Broncos rookies with explosive speed, and tells Al we are fixing to find out what athletes will stand out in training camp. Emmanuel Sanders & Demaryius Thomas looked great, and will be counted on throughout the year to perform at a high level.
