Big Al & DMac make their picks after the Broncos ’17 schedule is released. When will Paxton Lynch be starting and when will the Broncos pull the plug on Trevor Siemian, if at all. Big Al thinks the Broncos could be one of the hottest teams in the NFL heading into playoffs, and DMac admits anything can happen. A tough division plus a tough road schedule add up to no breaks for the Broncos, and Big Al mentions Joe Mixon cleaning things up.
What’s better for the Broncos franchise, going with Paxton Lynch & missing the playoffs or starting Siemian & possibly sneaking in. DMac asks Al who the managers are Mike Mayock talks to, and Jim Nantz moves on from Phil Simms & has some comments on the Dallas Thanksgiving game. Football Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show with some NFL draft coverage after Mike Mayock throws John Ross under the bus for injuries. Cecil says the injuries are a part of Ross’ scouting report & durability has been a question mark for some time, but he could work nicely with Sanders & DT in Denver. Cecil highlights some TD threats & red-zone hogs at TE that the Broncos could be interested in like Evan Engram & Bucky Hodges, and talks the possibility of the Browns letting another team move up to take Myles Garrett at No. 1 overall. Listen to the interview HERE! Also, Big Al is not ready to endorse Todd Gurley as one of the best RB’s in the NFL.
DMac says the Boston Marathon bombing brought the community together in a way previously unseen, and the Boston fan base is as strong as ever. Vince Carter continues to amaze Big Al, and the guys plan a trip to the Broncos game against the Bills in Buffalo. DMac can’t stand Philly, even though he ran the same stairs as Rocky and took pictures, and Big Al can’t stand the way in which the Pacers collapsed against the Cavs last night. Also, the guys debate if things truly worked out with Broncos youngster Kalif Raymond, and take guesses at Johnny Cueto’s hat size.
