The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio. Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about Kaepernick and why Jay Cutler hasn’t signed with any teams. Al mentions Kaepernick could be seen as a distraction, and San Francisco did Kaepernick no favors. Troy Renck joins the show to talk about the World Baseball Classic and what would happen if Kershaw went to play in the WBC and got hurt. Also, how Paxton Lynch can take the reigns and close the gap this off-season, how critical Trevor Siemian’s shoulder injury is, and when we can expect Trevor back throwing the pigskin again.

Bizarre mixture of politics & sports. DMac can’t believe how the Nuggets lost, and Al says they need to stop the ball late in games. DMac promises Al nobody’s competing with Menelik Watson for his job, and Zach Kerr was surprised he didn’t get an offer. The Broncos want to do a rotation on the offensive line, and need a splash player in the draft like McCaffrey. Al says Ryan Ramczyk is the guy for the Broncos and DMac says they need to go get someone that does other things like McCaffrey. Also, Trump takes shots at Colin Kaepernick, CSU gets beat down, and Golden State Warriors become year-long villains. Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about Trump’s comments on Kaepernick and why Jay Cutler hasn’t signed with any teams. Al mentions Kaepernick could be seen as a distraction, and San Francisco did Kaepernick no favors. DMac says the 49ers cast a negative light on the situation, and taking a knee during the National Anthem must have been a catalyst. Al says the Chargers are re-making their core, and the Raiders are left with voids after their free agent departures.
