Tuesday’s show the guys talk about how long the Broncos should wait for Tony Romo and one defensive player the Broncos could look to take in the draft this year. 9News Broncos Insider Mike Klis joined the show.
Hour one Tyler Polumbus and Brandon Stokley talk about the Tony Romo situation and how long the Broncos should wait in order to get Romo. Brandon Stokley first gives his answer on how long he would wait for Romo until he decides to move on in the Tony Romo sweepstakes. Tyler Polumbus then gives his answer on when he would move on from Tony Romo.
9News Broncos Insider Mike Klis joined Tyler Polumbus and Brandon Stokley. Mike first talks about how long the Broncos can wait in order to get Tony Romo as their starting quarterback. Mike goes through what is playing into the situation. Mike then discusses Tony Romo’s contract and where the Broncos would want to go as far as how much Romo makes each year of his deal. Mike then breaks down the Broncos offensive line and if Denver would be in the market for a trade to get a left tackle. The guys break down if there is any defensive players available that would be an interesting add for the Broncos in the first round of the draft. The guys break down the two or three guys that would interesting for the Broncos. Brandon Stokley goes into why there’s only two defensive players that he would even think of taking at number 20 overall if he was in the Broncos front office. The guys look at that and more relating to the Broncos draft.
For the rest of hour two the guys get into whether or not they would rather have Tony Romo at quarterback or fix the teams left tackle issue. Brandon Stokley first gives his answer of what he would rather fix first. Tyler Polumbus then gives some of his thoughts on the issue and explains his reasoning.
Hour three Tyler Polumbus and Brandon Stokley talk about how Mike McCoy should plan to build the Broncos offense if they get Tony Romo this off-season. The guys look at some possibilities for the Broncos offense if they get a veteran quarterback like Tony Romo. The fellas weigh in on that and also look at the flip side of what if the Broncos don’t get Tony Romo this off-season. Brandon Stokley gives his thoughts on how the Broncos build their offense around the likes of Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch. Tyler Polumbus also weighs in with his thoughts and how he would build the offense around two younger quarterbacks.
For the rest of hour three the guys ranks some running backs as they relate to the Broncos. The fellas look at a handful of running backs some on the Broncos right now and some that are free agents and rank them. Tyler Polumbus and Brandon Stokley weigh in on that and decide if the Broncos need to grab another running back this off-season. The guys get into that and much more!
