The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio. NFL free agency has sprung to life, and the Cleveland Browns make the first monster move in a NBA-type swap with the Texans. Mike Klis joins the boys to say the Broncos had the Leary deal done yesterday, and Manning was ready to be a Texan but Kubiak went with Schaub. Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about why Tony Romo has not been released by the Cowboys & if Jerry Jones is simply okay with carrying that Tony Romo price tag. Mike Fisher joins the show to say the Cowboys couldn’t have two star QB leaders in the locker room, and there was never a QB controversy in Dallas. Aaron Goldhammer joins the show to say a football team run by baseball people just made a great basketball trade. Also, John McClain joins the show to tell Big Al & DMac the fans & the media in Houston crucified Brock Osweiler.
Big Al evaluates how free agency is going for the Broncos and says it’s going badly. Cowboys have not released Romo, and Jerry Jones thinks they are in a game of chicken. Mike Klis joins the boys to say the Broncos had the Leary deal done yesterday, and Manning was ready to be a Texan but Kubiak went with Schaub. The Texans would sign Romo, but not trade for him, and John knows Romo has got to get protection to be successful in his advanced age. Also, just how much money Tony can make if he stays healthy.
