Earl Boykins joins the show to talk Kevin Durant’s knee injury, Vance Joseph’s comments at the NFL combine about the Broncos current QB’s, and Nikola Jokic finally coming out of his funk. Cecil Lammey joins the show LIVE from the NFL Combine in Indianapolis to talk about John Elway keeping an open mind, what’s the problem with the Broncos offense, and why Romo’s not here. Also, what exactly makes Mike McCoy a good coordinator.
The NHL trade deadline has come, and the guys wave goodbye to Jerome Iginla and Big Al is still sour about Patrick Roy leaving at the stroke of midnight before the season began. Earl Boykins joins the show to talk Kevin Durant’s knee injury, Vance Joseph’s comments at the NFL combine about the Broncos current QB’s, and Nikola Jokic finally coming out of his funk. Big Al says Jokic is becoming more special every time we see him. The guys laugh about being fat, good and thick. Al & Earl agree it’s better if the Nuggets miss playoffs & set their sights on a deep draft. Also, Jimmer keeps balling out in China.
The guys agree Tyrod is still one to watch, and the Washington Redskins fear the 49ers in the Kirk Cousins saga. Cecil Lammey joins the show LIVE from the NFL Combine in Indianapolis to talk about John Elway keeping an open mind, what’s the problem with the Broncos offense, and why Romo’s not here. The sooner, the better according to Cecil, but if the Broncos go with Romo they are on hold until August. Cecil was disappointed after day one at the combine, and mentions things Paxton doesn’t do well that rub the coaches the wrong way. Listen to the interview HERE!
Tyler Polumbus joins the show and walks into a firestorm about Mike McCoy or Adam Gase as the Broncos OC. McCoy has been the understudy in a couple of different offenses according to Tyler, and he says that’s not easy to do.
