The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio reminisce about the old school. The importance of the Nuggets staying with the Warriors tonight & the NY Giants cutting Victor Cruz today. Aldon Smith is under investigation for a domestic incident, and Mike MacIntyre’s new deal is put on hold. Tim Connelly joins Big Al & DMac to discuss Nuggets brand of basketball and Mason Plumlee’s playmaking. The guys laugh about the Nuggets being an even match with the Warriors & Tiger Woods making it through an event.
The guys reminisce about the old school and Big Al’s high school football career despite heart palpitations. DMac asks Al if this is the closest the Pepsi Center will get tonight to a playoff atmosphere as the Nuggets take on the Warriors. Al says the Nuggets need to know who they are as a basketball club. Also, updates on Victor Cruz, Harbaugh & Tony Gonzalez.
Big Al & DMac discuss Aldon Smith being under investigation for a domestic incident. Al says Smith was a unique talent, and DMac notes how close Von Miller was to falling down the same hole Smith did. The debate rages on about whether Watson, Lynch or Prescott has the most upside. The Buffs want to make sure the Joe Tumpkin allegation process takes it’s course before Mike MacIntyre’s new contract is finalized. Tim Connelly joins Big Al & DMac to discuss Nuggets brand of basketball and Mason Plumlee’s playmaking. Connelly says Nurkic didn’t pout, and the Nuggets newest deal was mostly about bringing in Plumlee than getting rid of Nurkic. Listen to the interview HERE!
DMac says he would take Fitzpatrick off the street before he would go with Lynch, Siemian or Romo. Big Al is not ready to nail Tom Brady down as the best quarterback of all-time after hearing Joe Montana’s comments. DMac thinks Big Al is crazy for saying the NFL is easier now, and Al just wants to find someone like Watson or Romo that can beat Tom Brady. The guys laugh about the Nuggets being an even match with the Warriors & Tiger Woods making it through an event.
