The Drive with Big Al in Houston & Cecil Lammey LIVE in studio talk re-working Okung’s deal. Al says that’s a bad look for Russell Okung, and Cecil says Broncos fans want four of the five bodies on the O-Line replaced. Floyd Little joins the show to talk about Terrell Davis being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Floyd says TD’s voicemail box is already full, and it took too long for him to get in. Troy Renck joins the guys to talk about the Broncos looking for one tackle and one guard in free agency. An update on Derek Wolfe’s health and Bradley Roby’s 5th-year option possibly getting picked up. Troy mentions Aqib Talib is getting up there in age, and Cecil asks what kind of things Mike McCoy does for this Broncos offense.
The guys figure out if Russell Okung will be the right or left tackle, and how he gets out of this contract mess. Al talks trouble with signing Von Miller, and the fee that goes to the agent in a deal. Al reminds Cecil that everything is negotiable. The guys laugh about how a new HOF inductee has no time to do anything for the entire year after they are selected, and Floyd mentions the toughest week he ever had after being named to The Hall. Debate opens up about Connor Cook, and Tom Brady opens doors using tempo & personnel as a weapon. Brady threw the ball a whopping 62 times, a Super Bowl record. Big Al & Cecil laugh about Shaq, Deion Sanders & Kapri Bibbs’ hip-hop albums. Cecil tells Al the Nuggets are still hanging on to the 8th seed in the West, and Al considers the teams Denver is set to play. Jordan Spieth is upset about all the kids trying to get autographs from him, and Cecil & Al have some thoughts on his comments about not being Tiger Woods.
