This weekend, more than 10,000 visitors — from novice golfers to pros to exhibitors — are expected to flock to the Denver Mart (451 E. 58th Avenue) for the 2017 Denver Golf Expo.
One of the top consumer golf events in the United States, the Denver Golf Expo aims to give golfers an early jumpstart to the upcoming season.
“Our goal is to get people thinking about golf earlier, which is one of the reasons we hold the Denver Golf Expo in February,” said Mark Cramer, owner and operator of the Denver Golf Expo, in a press release.
“The thinking is if we can give them a great golf experience, get a new club in their hands, give them a swing lesson, or get them thinking about golf in a new way it will encourage occasional and avid golfers to get out on the course as soon as they get the chance.”
The weekend-long event offers seminars, deals on equipment, prizes and a sense of camaraderie among fellow lovers of the links.
With admission, expo-goers receive a free subscription to Golf Digest Magazine, a free custom-built 21-degree hybrid or gap wedge, a free subscription to Colorado AvidGolfer, and the Fore Golf Program, which includes free range balls and golf, courtesy of South Suburban Parks and Recreation.
There’ll be more than 100 door prizes given away during the three-day show, including a grand prize of a bucket-list trip for four to Bandon Dunes; show-only deals and greens fees to numerous golf courses; 2017 model club demos; and more.
And give the kids a great experience too, with Junior Golf Central, highlighted with an interactive drive, chip and putt competition.
