The Drive with Big Al and Cecil Lammey (in for DMac) LIVE in studio on this Game Plan Wednesday welcomes in Chad Brown and Daniel Graham to talk some Broncos football as the team’s injury list was considerably longer than in past weeks. Earl Boykins also joins the show to talk Nuggets basketball, as the team lost last night against the Clippers but are on a good run as of late.
The Drive with Big Al and Cecil Lammey (in for DMac) LIVE in studio talking about the struggles of Holiday shopping this close to Christmas. The fellas move to Pro Bowl selections, celebrating Chris Harris Jr, Von Miller and Aqib Talib. The Big Three at 3:30 brings in Earl Boykins and brings up Aqib Talib’s comments about what’s been going on with him lately and how the locker room has dealt with the drama. Also, the lack of interest in the Pro Bowl and LeBron James moves into 7th place in the all-time scoring list. The hour wraps with Earl and the fellas talking about last night’s Nuggets loss to the Clippers, Emmanuel Mudiay, Nikola Jokic and Gary Harris all struggled. Also, College Basketball is heating up after Kentucky/North Carolina. Earl talks about how College programs can recruit and feed players to the pros.
Football at Four underway with Big Al and Cecil talking about Tyreek Hill and the many ways the can torch any given team on any given Sunday. The Broncos have their own “Tyreek Hill” in Kalif Raymond. How can the Broncos maximize how they utilize Raymond? Daniel Graham, former Broncos Tight End, joins the show to talk about the current situation the Broncos are dealing with as both A.J. Derby and Virgil Green are in the league’s concussion protocol and are uncertain for Sunday night’s game against the Chiefs. Listen to the conversation with Daniel HERE! The hour wraps with the fellas talking about Jeff Heuerman and his development as a professional Tight End.
The third and final hour of The Drive underway with Chad Brown in studio, joining Big Al and Cecil as the fellas ask Chad about Richard Sherman’s threats to “end the career” of a journalist. Chad says Pete Carroll runs a ‘loose ship’ and wants it to continue to be loose. The guys also touch on the Pro Bowl and how it’s lost it’s luster over the years. Trending up and Trending down, it’s The Closing Bell and it’s ringing on Jeff Heuerman as trending up because he has a chance for some playing time because of injuries. Also trending up is Trevor Siemian, who got each of his Offensive Linemen a Skittles-dispensing jacket. Trending down is Adrian Peterson for coming back too early. Also, Drew Brees didn’t make the Pro Bowl…. why?
