Bill Willcox of Lake John Resort talks using Thanksgiving as a dictator for ice fishing, as well as things picking up with the minnow explosion. Big fish activity, even four-pounders have been seen as everything is working, including worms, flies and hardware. Crank baits still catching Browns for another three weeks, & fun for the kids during action-packed ice fishing season. Also, short days & cooler weather making for better fish, previously tough to get to.
