It’s The Drive with Big Al and D-Mac broadcasting live from the Sports Column and breaking down the Broncos Thursday night match-up with the Chargers. The fellas are joined by Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune, Mike Klis, and Cecil Lammey.

Big Al and D-Mac live from The Sports Column it’s The Drive as the show gets started talking tonight’s game against the Chargers. The conversation then switches to the Quarterbacks. Is Trevor Siemian healthy and is he playing only because he’s a better option than Paxton Lynch? D-Mac says Kubiak’s offensive game plan against the Falcons was weak and he wants to see if Rick Dennison will show us something different tonight. The Big 3 at 3:30 brings up whether or not DeMarcus Ware is missed, if Brock Osweiler was one of the worst free agency signings in the  NFL, and what to expect from the Chargers. The hour wraps up with the guys discussing a conversation Big Al had with Hall of Famer Gary Zimmerman.

Kevin Acee from the San Diego Union Tribune joins the show to help preview tonight’ s game from a San Diego perspective and the guys also get into Joey Bosa’s contract dispute that took place throughout the off season and into the regular season. Listen to the conversation in its entirety HERE!  Then, the fellas are joined by Broncos Insider Mike Klis from 9 News. They discuss what impact Coach Kubiak’s absence will have on tonight’s game and address the Broncos Quarterback situation. The third and final hour underway with Big Al and D-Mac broadcasting live from the Sports Column as they take a look at the Broncos inactive list for tonight’s match-up and discuss the lack of offense in last week’s game. Trending up and trending down, the closing bell rings on! Trending up is Trevor Siemian at starting QB again. Also trending up is Melvin Gordon leading the NFL in touchdowns after scoring none his rookie season. Trending down are color rush uniforms and the fact that Coach Kubiak won’t be on the sidelines tonight. Then, our Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to help us preview tonight’s Broncos game and give us his thoughts on the inactive list. Listen to Cecil’s take on the game HERE!  Then, Big Al and D-Mac examine how the Chargers can have a 1-4 record when Phillip Rivers is playing above average in almost every statistical category.
