The Drive LIVE with Big Al and DMac in studio giving you “Game Plan Wednesday.” The Broncos landed earlier today in San Diego for tomorrow night’s game against the San Diego Chargers. We are joined by Earl Boykins and Chad Brown in studio.
The Drive with Big Al and DMac on the air as today is “Game Plan” Wednesday for the Broncos as the Broncos have landed safely in San Diego for tomorrow’s game against the Chargers. We also hear Donald Trump’s comments that he made earlier at a rally in Florida about Concussions in the NFL. The Big Three at 3:30 brings in Earl Boykins and brings up what the definition of “locker room talk” is, what Carson Wentz is up to on his bye week and Tiger Woods is getting ready to make his return. The hour wraps with Earl in studio and the fellas talking NBA basketball as the regular season starts in just under two weeks.
Football at Four underway with the fellas talking about today’s big news, that the 49ers and Colin Kaepernick have restructured his contract, with an option to void the contract after this season. The 49ers CANNOT use the Franchise Tag on him. Then, Big Al’s Game Book gets opened up as tomorrow is Game Day for Broncos Country. We take a look back at last season’s match-ups with San Diego, including the benching of Brock Osweiler in favor of Peyton Manning. The hour finishes with a Tim Tebow Update, as he saved a fan’s life after the fan passed out at the game in Arizona.
The third and final hour underway brings Chad Brown in studio as the fellas bring up CU Buffaloes football before moving onto the Broncos. DMac brings up the virtual reality system that Stanford Cardinals have, the Broncos have looked at but haven’t moved to yet. The question is raised, how can a Quarterback develop in the NFL if he doesn’t ever get on the field. The Closing Bell rings on Colin Kaepernick and David Ortiz as Trending up… Trending down is athletes and radio hosts talking about Donald Trump and people that question how serious concussions are in the NFL.
