The Drive LIVE on the road with Big Al and DMac broadcasting from Govnr’s Park Tavern in celebration of Thursday Night Football. Focus is on the Falcons as the fellas are joined by Cecil Lammey, our Broncos Insider, as well as Mike Klis from 9NEWS to help educate us on what to look out for on Sunday.
The Drive LIVE on the road, Govnr’s Park Tavern for Thursday Night Football, it’s Big Al and DMac getting the show started off talking about last night’s play in game for the MLB Playoffs as the Giants topped the Mets. The fellas bring up Kyle Shanahan, as he was a topic of conversation today out at Dove Valley. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up the MLB Playoffs and Troy Tulowitzki playing, JR Smith teases the idea of playing football and Ian Desmond hesitated on a Tulo fly ball to give Tulo a three run triple. Cecil Lammey, our Broncos Insider, joins the show to continue the conversation about this Broncos and Falcons match up coming up on Sunday. Football at Four underway with Big Al and DMac focusing on the Falcons Defense, which only has four sacks TOTAL on the season so far. Criticism is shown towards their D-Coordinator Richard Smith, who was fired by Gary Kubiak in Houston. DMac brings in our Program Director, Armen Williams to get an idea of what exactly is going on with these Texas Rangers, as they’re losing 7-0 to the Toronto Blue Jays right now. Mike Klis from 9NEWS jumps on with the fellas as Mike raises his Cubs flag in the wake of the MLB Playoffs. Switching to football, tomorrow’s practice is huge for Trevor Siemian, if he’s running with the ones tomorrow, he’s your starter on Sunday. The third and final hour underway with Big Al and DMac talking about Trevor Siemian as we hear from Coach Kubiak regarding what he did today at practice and was today some forward progress in getting Siemian back under Center on Sunday. DMac says Trevor Siemian doesn’t have the body type to be a long term starter in the NFL. The Closing Bell, trending up and trending down, rings on a Colorado Athlete named Sarah Thomas who has swam 82 miles in 60 hours and Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe as trending up. Trending down is T.I. in the Broncos locker room and a High School in Washington that has cancelled it’s Friday night game because of who their opponent is because they are much bigger than their kids.
