After four seasons atop the dugout for the Colorado Rockies, Walt Weiss will be stepping down as the clubs manager.
In a tweet Monday morning, the Rockies confirmed Weiss would be stepping down as his 3-year contract with the club through the 2016 ended with Sunday’s 6-4 loss in the team’s season finale.

During his four years as Colorado’s manager, Weiss never earned a winning season –– the closest was 75-87 this season, a .463 winning percentage.
Weiss’ finally win-loss record tallies at 283-356 (.437), the lowest winning percentage by a Rockies manager in franchise history.
