Siemian questionable with hurt shoulder, Lynch at QB for Broncos

Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian left the game late in the first half against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a sack by Clinton McDonald left him with an apparent injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

The team indicated that Siemian, who left the field on a cart, was questionable to return, giving way to rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch.

Siemian did have his pads still on as the team came out for the second half, though reports indicate Lynch will remain in the game with Siemian as an emergency backup.

It’s Lynch’s first action in a regular season NFL game. And through two drives, the rookie has passed for 85 yards on 8-of-15 passing.
