Ring of Fame Grows by Three: Schlereth Evans

Schlereth & Evans – 5/18/16 – Wednesday’s show hears the guys dive into an assortment of sports topics including the Broncos players announced to the Ring of Fame yesterday as well as the Rockies increasing their win streak to 5 games in a row. Newly elected Ring of Fame member John Lynch and Root Sports analyst Drew Goodman both join the show to discuss the R.O.F. selection and Rockies hot streak, respectively.

Hour One begins with some immediate reaction to John Lynch being one of the players elected to the Ring of Fame and whether or not his years spent in a Broncos jersey warrant such a high honor.

They then move on to The Morning Brew where they discuss the three Broncos elected to the Ring of Fame, the Rockies starting off their road trip with a win, the Nuggets picking 7th again in the NBA draft and the blowouts from both the San Jose Sharks and Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA/NHL playoffs.

The gents close hour one with some discussion as to what should be the guidelines for a former player to be elected into the Ring of Fame.

The second hour begins with Stink’s “Clear The Air” segment where he rips into all of the haters who do not believe that future Hall of Famer John Lynch should be in the Broncos Ring of Fame. Hear Stink let it all out BELOW: 

4 Down Territory commences half way through hour two where the fellas jump into more Broncos Ring of Fame talk, Sam Bradford speaking for the first time since his trade demand, Michael Bennett’s thoughts on that trade demand by Bradford and Andrew Luck’s necessity to stay healthy this upcoming season. 

The guys wrap hour two taking some thoughts from the Total Beverage Text Line about whether folks believe John Lynch should be in Denver’s Ring of Fame or not.

Hour three begins with former Broncos safety and future NFL Hall of Famer John Lynch joining the gents to discuss his selection to the Broncos Ring of Fame this season. He and the guys discuss a few different things pertaining to the ROF selection including if he thinks his career in Denver only is worthy enough as well as some conversation about the chances this year’s team can repeat as Super Bowl Champions. Our guy Drew Goodman from Root Sports joins us to close out the third hour where he and the guys discuss thoughts on the team’s current hot streak, the starting pitching and the success their having on the road, when he thinks Jorge De La Rosa will return to the mound and if he believes this is finally the year things turn a corner for the club.
