Hour one gets started with C.J. and Mike Klis breaking down the Mark Sanchez thumb injury. What does this mean for Paxton Lynch and the Broncos? Mike Klis explains how the Sanchez injury might give Paxton Lynch more of a chance for reps. Mike also discusses how if the season were to start today quarterback Trevor Siemian would probably be the starter.

C.J. and Mike Klis debate what the Broncos ultimate goal is this year. Mike Klis says it’s still for the team to win the Super Bowl. C.J. is under the belief though, that maybe because Denver won last year there’s not as much pressure this season. C.J. thinks there might be some slightly different expectations now in 2016-2017 for Denver.

At the end of the hour, C.J. and Mike Klis look at the Broncos’ Ring of Fame and who should go in next. C.J. wants to see Simon Fletcher go in, who is the franchise leader for sacks with 97.5 sacks. Mike Klis thinks kicker Jason Elam is at least one lock to probably go into the Ring of Fame this year. Plus, the guys look at some other names that haven’t gotten in. Linebacker Al Wilson and Trevor Pryce is brought up. C.J. and Mike Klis debate if Wilson will get in. The guys agree though that maybe others should at least get in first.

Hour two kicks off with more Broncos expectation talk. Is just a playoff appearance good enough for the Broncos? C.J. and Mike Klis analyze the quarterback situation and how it relates to expectations. Mike Klis looks at Paxton Lynch and thinks that young quarterbacks can win in the NFL. Mike brings up examples of young rookie quarterbacks doing well such as Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. Mike’s logic is that if you somewhat handcuff a young quarterback they can succeed.

The Thunder beat the Warriors in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. C.J. weighs in on the small ball played by Golden State and how it didn’t work out in game 1. Mike Klis gives his opinion that the series will most likely go at least six games now.

The guys wrap up the hour discussing the NBA draft lottery. Is the draft lottery a fair system to determine the draft order in the NBA? Mike Klis looks at past teams that have tanked to try to get the number one pick. In some cases it has worked to get a top player but in other cases it hasn’t.

Hour three Rockies play by play voice for Root Sports Drew Goodman joined the show. Drew talks about the Rockies sweeping the Mets over the past weekend. Why have the Rockies been more successful as of late? Drew answers that question and also discusses the brawl that occurred between the Rangers and Blue Jays over the weekend. Listen to the full interview HERE!

C.J. and Mike Klis then get into comments made by Steven Adams from the Oklahoma City Thunder after game 1 against the Warriors. C.J. and Mike discuss how the situation should be handled and how others should take the comments made.

At the end of the show the fellas wrap things up once again talking about who this year might get into the Broncos’ Ring of Fame. A committee today is suppose to come out with a decision about who will get in. C.J. stands by his point from earlier in the show that Simon Fletcher needs to go into the Ring of Fame. C.J. blames him not being in yet on maybe some of his personality traits. Mike thinks it might have to do with never making a Pro Bowl. Also, more discussion about defensive lineman Trevor Pryce at some point getting into the Broncos’ Ring of Fame.
