SANCHEZ HAS THUMB SURGERY, LYNCH GETTING MORE REPS: The Drive

The Drive – 5/16/16 – On Monday’s episode of The Drive Big Al & D-Mac touched on Mark Sanchez and his thumb surgery, the Broncos’ signing of Dekoda Watson, and Jose Bautista getting punched in the face. They were joined by Mike Klis to have a conversation about the Broncos as they continue through their offseason program. They chatted with the Mayor of Las Vegas about the Raiders’ rumored move. They reacted to some of the soundbites from the Broncos’ tight ends earlier today.
Big Al & D-Mac kicked off hour one talking about Big Sexy’s time as a ball-boy for the Nuggets. Big Sexy chimed in with what opportunities his time with the Nuggets presented to him.
Up next was the Big Three at 3:30, where the guys had conversations about Mark Sanchez’s thumb surgery, the NBA Western Conference Finals, Jose Bautista being punched, and Tim Duncan’s potential retirement.

Football at Four began with more discussions about how Mark Sanchez will likely try to rush back from his injury in order to prevent Paxton Lynch from stealing the starting QB position.

The conversation shifted back to the Broncos and the guys gave their reactions to some soundbites from the Broncos’ tight ends earlier in the day to close the second hour.
Big Al and D-Mac opened the final hour of the show discussing Jose Bautista’s fight with Rougned Ordor. This lead to an extended conversation on fighting in sports. D-Mac brought up the punch Rudy Tomjonavich took in 1977.
Halfway through the hour it was the Closing Bell where interest in baseball was trending up for D-Mac and the city of Toronto was on the up and up for Big Al. Trending down was the Buffalo Bills for D-Mac and Tiger Woods for Big Al.
The topic to close the show was the NBA playoffs as the guys argued over what would be the most exciting match-up for the NBA Finals.
