C.J. and Brandon talk about Broncos’ linebacker Von Miller being left off the cover of Madden, the Spurs losing to the the Thunder last night, and some of the new pieces for the Broncos’ including two new fullbacks, 9News Broncos Insider Mike Klis joined the show in the second hour of the show to talk Broncos,

Hour one get started with Brandon Stokley talking about his vacation. C.J. and Brandon also get into some of the topics that Brandon missed while he was away this week.Brandon Stokley talks about the Broncos’ defense saying their still being disrespected and not getting enough credit. Brandon analyzes the Broncos’ defense in 2016-2017. C.J. is still taking a wait and see approach.

The guys then break down the Broncos’ schedule again. ESPN recently predicted the Broncos’ to go 7-9 this season. Is that a crazy prediction? Both C.J. and Brandon think it’s a little crazy to say they will go 7-9. C.J, thinks he found a game that he now sees the Broncos winning that he didn’t before. C.J. now has the Broncos’ winning 10 games this year instead of being 9-7.Brandon Stokley also looks at what he had predicted for the Broncos. Brandon Stokley goes back to it depends what the Broncos’ can get out of their quarterbacks this year. Plus, more schedule talk as they look around the AFC West.

Hour two 9News Broncos Insider Mike Klis joined C.J. and Brandon. Mike Klis talks about when the Broncos’ might sign their first round draft pick Paxton Lynch. Mike Klis also breaks down what second year Bronco might make the biggest impact in the 2016-2017 season. Klis thinks linebacker Shane Ray will make the biggest impact next season for the Broncos’. C.J. and Brandon Stokley talk about LSU runningback Leonard Fournette having two $10 millon dollar insurance policies in case of an injury. The guys debate whether the NCAA rule to have to play at least three years of college football before going into the NFL draft is fair. C.J. hates the way the rules are set up right now. C.J. would like to see players drafted out of high school if that’s what they choose. Brandon Stokley on the other hand, likes the way the rules are set up right now. Brandon believes the way things are set up right now protects the players. Brandon thinks that high school kids would make bad decisions and decide to not go to college. The guys also take some calls on the subject. Most of the callers agreed with C.J. and want to be able to see kids make the choice.

Hour three kicks off with C.J. and Brandon Stokley talking more about NCAA rules. C.J. sticks with his opinion that things need to change to allow players to be drafted out of high school. Brandon Stokley still wants the rule to stay the same. Plus, Rockies’ shortstop Jose Reyes is officially suspended til May 31st.

C.J. and Brandon Stokley break down the Spurs being blown out and eliminated last night by the Thunder. Is his the end of an era with the Spurs? C.J. thinks this might be the end of an era for the Spurs. Brandon Stokley sees the Spurs as a team built like the Broncos.Brandon thinks with a good core the Spurs can add some free agents and build up another winning era. C.J. sees it as being over and is a little sad about it. The fellas also discuss head coach Gregg Popovich and his influence on the Spurs. C.J. and Stokley also look at the influence great coaching has on a team such as Broncos’ head coach Gary Kubiak.

The guys wrap up the show talking about the rest of the NBA playoffs. The guys give their predictions. With San Antonio now out now C.J. and Stokley still see it as Cleveland vs. Golden State in the finals.
