Schlereth & Evans – 5/13/16 – Stink and Evans have some fun on “Top Gun Friday” as they discuss a multitude of different sports topics including the closeout games in both the NBA and NHL playoffs as well as Chris Harris on the disrespect the defending Super Bowl Champions continue to receive in the national media. NFL analyst Chad Brown joins the guys to talk Broncos and other news from around the league.

The guys kick off hour one having a little fun with “National Top Gun Day” where they play around with some very interesting nicknames in relation to the movie.

They then move on to The Morning Brew where they chatted NBA and NHL Playoffs, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver apologizing to Steph Curry for leaving him hanging on a handshake, Dana White on the possibility of a McGregor/Mayweather fight and Jordan Spieth’s first round at the Player’s Championship.

The guys close the first hour with a little more “Top Gun” fun as well as some thoughts on whether Tim Duncan should hang up his sneakers after the series loss to OKC.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!

Hour two pops off with Stink’s “Clear The Air” rant where he finally speaks his mind about the “nerds” and their garbage prediction of a 7-9 record for the Broncos 2016 season. Hear Stink give it to the nerds BELOW:

4 Down Territory then took place halfway through the second hour where the fellas dove into all things from around the NFL including Carson Wentz signing his rookie deal with the Eagles, Gronk awarded the cover of Madden 2017, Hall of Famer Joe Montana’s thoughts on Colin Kaepernick and Michael Bennett’s unhappiness about his contract with Seattle.

Stink and Evans close hour two with some very opinionated thoughts on the NCAA and big time universities who are signing multi-million dollar apparel contracts but continue to pronounce that they have no funds to compensate student athletes.

Listen to our conversation with Chad HERE!

The back half of Friday’s third hour heard the guys talk more nicknames and “National Top Gun Day” as well as more chatter about the NCAA and students “working for free” in relation to athletics.

The start of OT heard Mike dive back into the guys’ interview with NFL analyst Chad Brown earlier this morning where they chatted Broncos, Greg Hardy, and the latest from around the NFL.

He then moves on to more discussion about Stink’s “Clear The Air” rant where he (Stink) had some pretty strong thoughts on all the “experts” and “nerds” who are picking the Broncos to finish 7-9 in the 2016 season.

Mike closes OT with a story told by Chad Brown in his interview of his relationship with Broncos all-time great Howard Griffith.
