Hour one gets started with C.J. and Troy Renck talking about the biggest question marks right now for the Broncos. C.J. right sees a lot of question marks and not as many answers. One of C.J.’s biggest question marks is defensive lineman Malik Jackson leaving Denver for Jacksonville. Troy Renck explains how the team will miss Malik Jackson and Derek Wolfe will now have to be relied on more.
Another question mark the guys look at is the linebacker position with Danny Trevathan also leaving in free agency. Troy Renck says Todd Davis could be an answer for Denver at linebacker. Also, will Von Miller and the Broncos’ reach an agreement before Von signs the franchise tag? Troy Renck thinks Von Miller will be one of the highest paid defensive players in the league.
C.J. and Troy Renck look at running back C.J. Anderson and if he could shoulder more of a leadership role this season. C.J. points out that the Broncos’ are now without offensive leader quarterback Peyton Manning. Troy talks about how if Mark Sanchez performs he could take over a small leadership role on offense. Who will be the leader on offense for Denver?
Hour 2 begins with comments from Broncos’ linebacker Shane Ray at Dove Valley. C.J. and Troy Renck react to what Shane Ray had to say at Dove Valley. C.J. and Troy Renck also analyze what role Shane Ray might have this season. Could he be an answer for Denver? C.J. and Troy think he might be.

C.J. and Troy Renck discuss the Broncos’ opener September 8th and who the musical act should be before the game. Troy Renck would like Zach Brown to open up and C.J. is up for Kendrick Lamar or Drake being the musical act. The fellas also read some texts on who others would want to see. Some of those include, Justin Timberlake, and Big Head Todd and the Monsters.
Hour three former Texans’ fullback under Gary Kubiak in 2011 Lawrence Vickers joined C.J. and Troy Renck. Lawrence starts by talking about his time in college playing for CU. Lawrence then weighs in on the Broncos’ adding two fullbacks this off-season. Lawrence discusses what a fullback will do for the Broncos’ offense in 2016-2017. Listen to the full interview HERE!
After the interview C.J. and Troy Renck look at closer at the Von Miller contract situation. Will the Broncos make Von Miller one of the highest paid defensive players in the league? Troy Renck likes to note that Denver will now have some cap space with players leaving, such as Peyton Manning retiring. Troy thinks the Broncos could end up giving Von Miller NFL quarterback type money. His reasoning is that rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch won’t make much money early in his NFL career.
At the end of the show C.J. and Troy debate what will unfold this season for Denver at quarterback. Troy finds it hard to believe that Mark Sanchez will get beat out in camp by a rookie quarterback. The guys discuss how level headed Sanchez has been through the process but he needs to show it on the field as well.
C.J. discusses how another part of the team is critical to Sanchez or Lynch, is the offensive line. Troy Renck counters with another big weapon for the Broncos’ offense along with a good offensive line, might be utilizing their tight ends in the red zone.
