LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!
3pm – The Drive, Big Al and DMac, LIVE in studio gets going looking back on last night’s performance by one, Stephen Curry. Alfred asks why any professional athlete would want to play in Oklahoma City? You want to play in big cities and big time moments. DMac asks why Oklahoma City has been a playoff team and the New York Knicks haven’t been? The Big Three at 3:30 brings up the Las Vegas Mayor announcing the Raiders will move to Vegas with no official word from the NFL or the Raiders organization, the NBA MVP voting is in, Bryce Harper ejected in the Bottom of the 9th in a tied game last night and has there ever been a time in the NBA’s history where it had more ‘star’ players than right now. The Broncos have brought in another Fullback today.
LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!
4pm – Hour two underway with the news of the Broncos bringing in another Fullback, Toben Opurum, formerly of the New Orleans Saints. Alfred proceeds to call last year’s Super Bowl victory a lucky season and that’s why it seems the Broncos aren’t getting respected as World Champs even though they won the Super Bowl. The New York Giants drafted Eli Apple, the first time in NFL history that team has two Eli’s on their roster. Eli says call him “Elisha” to avoid confusion. The access fans have to athletes these days is amazing compared to back when Alfred was active is crazy. Switching gears, the Rockies lost last night to Arizona with game two of the series tonight down at Coors Field.
LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!
5pm – The third and final hour underway with the Broncos’ 6th round pick, Will Parks, joining the show to break down his first weekend as a member of Broncos Country and his relationship with fellow Bronco Draft Pick, Justin Simmons. Hear our conversation with Will HERE! Looking at the draft, Alfred doesn’t know if Adam Gotsis will live up to his Second Round pick but with Defensive line coach Bill Kollar on staff, anything is possible. Can Justin Simmons fill the David Bruton hole for Denver? Alfred asks if Bruton left the Broncos with a sour taste in his mouth like Brock did? Especially with Rahim Moore starting over him all the time here in Denver. Trending up in today’s Closing Bell is Steph Curry and the Invictus Games. Trending down is the NHL playoffs and Tim Duncan. The show wraps with Running Back talk with DMac saying he’s not much of a fan of Juwan Thompson and is higher on Kapri Bibbs. No trust in Ronnie Hillman.
