3PM – The Drive with Big Al and D-Mac kicks off with the guys talking about the Broncos’ Rookie Minicamp, which wrapped up over the weekend. They talk about Peyton Manning tutoring Ryan Tannehill in Miami. They discuss why he is choosing to work with Adam Gaze as opposed to working with John Elway in Denver. They talk about the Colorado Rockies and Big Al shares his excitement with the Rox pitching. The guys are joined by Jake Plummer and they talk about his involvement with marijuana research. They talk about Jake’s relationship with Brock Osweiler and Jake explains how Osweiler isolated himself during the free agent period. Jake shares what advise he would have for Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch. They ask him about his relationship with Jay Cutler when Cutler was a rookie. 4PM – The guys are talking about the Broncos’ Rookie Minicamp to start off Football at Four. D-Mac says that Lynch looks and plays like a big Jake Plummer. They talk about Ray Lewis and Cris Carter being fired by ESPN and replaced by Randy Moss. They discuss how long it will be before fans start banging the table for Paxton Lynch to start. Big Al says that he wants to see a fair competition between Lynch and Mark Sanchez. He points out that the backup quarterback is always the most popular guy on the team. They discuss the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2016 and discuss which Broncos they think will be on the list. They talk about what players in the NBA could be considered “transformational” players. D-Mac makes his case for why Stephen Curry is a transformational player.

5PM – At the top of the five o’clock hour the guys are joined by Mike Klis, Channel 9 News Broncos insider, and they talk about the Broncos moving into phase two of their off-season program. They discuss some of the undrafted players to watch for the Broncos going forward. They discuss the signing bonuses given to undrafted players and ask if they can expect to see more money going to undrafted rookies. Listen to our conversation with Klis HERE! For the Closing Bell, trending up is Bartolo Colon for D-Mac and Stadium construction in Texas for Big Al. Trending down is Cris Carter for D-Mac and LeBron James for Big Al. They talk more about Peyton Manning working with the Dolphins. Big Al believes that Manning is trying to keep his style of offense from dying. They close the show talking about how Peyton Manning’s performance last year was brought down because he was not allowed to run the system that he had run his whole career.
