LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!
4PM – The guys kick off Football at Four talking about their initial impressions of Paxton Lynch at the Broncos’ Rookie Mini Camp. They note that he looks bigger and more “fluid” than Brock Osweiler did when he was with the Broncos. They complement him on his throwing motion and they way he moves. They point out that Lynch will be able to go through progressions and only run when he has to while still being able to be a threat to run. They note that Paxton Lynch is more athletic and is going to have the ability to make more plays happen with his legs than Osweiler was. They talk about Lynch’s admiration for Tom Brady. They talk about what some of the easiest college majors are. They argue over whether or not Sports Management is a legitimate major. D-Mac says that Paxton Lynch going through college and graduating when a lot of division one athletes don’t graduate speaks toward his work ethic.
LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!
5PM – At the top of the five o’clock hour the guys are talking about their college experiences and the classes that they failed. They talk about Paxton Lynch and how he has the arm to make all the throws. They talk about how other teams around the league are starting their rookies off slowly, some teams not even practicing on the field. They discuss whether or not having a light rookie mini camp is a good idea, with both agreeing that there is no need for rookies to go all out on day one. They talk about Andy Janovich and the role that he’ll play for the team going forward. D-Mac believes that Janovich will become a fan favorite. They discuss how the Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch competition will go. For the Closing Bell trending up is Laremy Tunsil for D-Mac and Paxton Lynch for Chad Brown, trending down is Zac Blair for D-Mac and Conor McGregor for Chad. The guys close the show talking about whether or not there should be a mercy rule in professional sports.
