Hour 1 C.J. filling in for Sandy Clough with Brandon Stokley live from The Blake Street Tavern. C.J. and Stokley start the show talking about the start of Broncos’ rookie mini camp and the Rockies beating the Giants last night, As well as previewing some of the events going on this weekend such as the Kentucky Derby.

Broncos rookie running back Devontae Booker was excused from mini camp because of graduation. C.J. and Brandon Stokley break down which rookies in mini camp. First, should teams back off on rookie mini camp with players getting injured. Brandon Stokley thinks teams should slightly back off on the intensity of rookie mini camp. Stokley suggests maybe rookies should just go to meetings and do a walk through. C.J.wants rookies to continue to work hard in camp and doesn’t mind the risk of injury. C.J. would rather see thing stay the way they have been since the beginning of football.

At the end of the hour, Broncos’ head coach Gary Kubiak talked to the media at Dove Valley. Gary comments on quarterback Paxton Lynch and other rookies from day 1 of rookie mini camp.

Hour 2 C.J. and Stokley are joined by Ryan Edwards to kick off the hour. Ryan gives an update on what he saw from Dove Valley on day 1 of rookie mini camp. Ryan talks about what kind of work quarterback Paxton Lynch got in today. Ryan also discusses what he saw from other rookies today.

Quarterback Paxton Lynch talked to the media at Dove Valley. Paxton shared his feelings about how things went on day 1 of mini camp. Paxton also talks about what he thought he did well and what he needs to improve upon as the season progresses.

Troy Renck from The Denver Post joined C.J. and Stokley to talk about day 1 of Broncos’ rookie mini camp. Troy discusses when we might see quarterback Paxton Lynch start for Denver. Troy also looks out how if the Broncos can run the football better their offense should improve. Plus, what are other rookies expectations. Troy weighs in on that. Listen to the full interview HERE.

C.J. and Stokley wrap up the hour ranking their top rookies for the Broncos. Brandon Stokley thinks fullback Andy Janovich will be the most used. C.J. sees safety Justin Simmons making the biggest impact for the Broncos this year.

Hour 3 C.J. and Stokley start the final hour talking about Brand Stokley’s experience at the Kentucky Derby. The guys also briefly look at tomorrows Kentucky Derby.

C.J. and Stokley continue more discussion about rookie mini camps. Brandon Stokley talks about some of his experiences at rookie mini camp and how rookies are worked too hard. Brandon Stokley sticks by his statement that rookie mini camp should be lighter. The guys also look at how it usually takes rookies two or three years to really make an impact in the NFL. The speed of the game just takes time for college players to get used to.

Ryan Edwards joined C.J. and Stokley to talk about what took place today at Dove Valley. Ryan explains how today was all about quarterback Paxton Lynch. Ryan talks about the progression of Paxton Lynch this year will be the important part of his journey. Also, other news and notes from Dove Valley today on day 1 of Broncos’ rookie camp.
