Schlereth & Evans – 4/27/16 – Wednesday’s show hears Stink and Mike talk a wide array of topics including the NFL draft being a day away as well as a new bill in the Colorado House of Representatives that would keep “Mile High” on the stadium, no matter the sponsor. The guys are joined by a trio of top-notch analysts including ESPN’s Mike Greenberg, Root Sports play-by-play guy Drew Goodman, and FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt.

Hour one kicks off with Stink’s thoughts on who the Denver Broncos should draft with the 31st overall pick in tomorrow night’s NFL draft.

They then moved on to The Morning Brew where they discussed more about the Mile High bill proposal, Saints QB Drew Brees ripping commissioner Roger Goddell, Pirates OF Andrew McCutcheon jacking three homers against the Rockies last night and the latest from the NBA playoffs.

The fellas closed the first hour with a conversation with ESPN’s Mike Greenberg of the show Mike and Mike (heard right here on The Fan) where they dove into a few different NFL topics including his thoughts on what the Broncos should do at QB, his beloved New York Jets’ chances in the 2016 season, and his impressions of the Brady suspension being upheld and who behind the scenes was helping to push it. Listen to our conversation with Greenberg HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!

Stink starts off the second hour with his always entertaining “Clear The Air” segment where he gets extremely passionate about why taking the “Best Player Available” in the NFL Draft is what leads to winning championships. Check out Stink wear his feelings on his sleeve BELOW:

4 Down Territory occurred after Stink’s rant where he and Mike talked more Drew Brees and his comments on the commissioner, Miami Dolphins players being upset at teammate Ndamukong Suh, the LA Rams waiting to announce which QB they’re going to take with the first selection and former first overall pick JaMarcus Russell saying he will play for free and for any team.

The gents closed the middle hour with chatter on first round picks from the 2013 draft and how Stink thinks each player from that draft has performed in the NFL so far.

Great friend of the show and Fox Sports lead college football analyst Joel Klatt joins the guys at the top of Wednesday’s final hour to discuss all things NFL draft including his thoughts on Michigan State QB Connor Cook and how he would fit here in Denver, his impressions on other QB prospects including Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott, the players at the top of his big board and which QB still available via free agency or trade would fit the Broncos scheme the best. Hear Stink and Mike chat with Joel HERE!

The gents then switched gears as they were joined by our hometown Root Sports play-by-play commentator Drew Goodman to talk about the recent struggles the Rockies are going through. They discussed Jorge De La Rosa and his leg injury suffered last night, the Rockies pitching staff having the highest ERA in the majors and how he believes players not currently on the roster will have to be added if they want different results then what they are currently getting.
