3PM – The Drive with Big Al and D-Mac begins with the guys discussing what makes a winner in sports. They talk about teams they’ve witnessed that didn’t know how to win. They compare the Broncos’ Superbowl appearances in 2014 and 2016 pointing out how much more competitive the Broncos were this past year. They discuss what the characteristics of great teams are. For the Big Three at 3:30 Big Al talks about Tom Brady’s suspension for the first four games of the season. D-Mac talks about Sam Bradford demanding a trade, laughing at the Philadelphia Eagles for claiming to be surprised by the demand. They talk about the Rockies and what a loss like the one they suffered yesterday means for the team going forward. They site the Rockies as an example of a team that doesn’t know how to win. They talk about why Jake McGee wasn’t pulled in the 9th inning against the Dodgers and Big Al points out that coaches aren’t always happy with the players management picks for them to play.

4PM – The guys talk about the Broncos’ signing of former Houston Texans tight end Garrett Graham to start off Football at Four. The guys are joined by Mike Klis of the Denver Post and they talk about who the Broncos might target in the upcoming draft. They talk about what options the Broncos have to fill their need at the QB position. They ask what type of draft compensation the Broncos will have to give to the San Fransisco 49ers to get a deal done for Colin Kaepernick. Klis says that the real issue with a trade for Kaepernick is figuring out what to do with Kaepernick $12 million guaranteed contract. Listen to our conversation with Klis HERE! The guys respond to some of the comments made by Demarcus Ware about the pay-cut he took for the Broncos and why he thinks the Broncos will be able to repeat as Superbowl champions. They talk about whether or not the NFL should stop testing players for Marijuana. For The Drive’s Top Five Draft Preview the guys are joined by Myles Simmons on the Rams, Anthony Gargano on the Eagles, Judson Richards on the Chargers, Jeff Cavanaugh on the Cowboys, and “Fat” Tony Smith on the Jaguars. 5PM – The Drive’s Top Five Draft Preview continues to start the final hour of the show with picks for the Cowboys and Jaguars. They talk about the likelihood of the Broncos getting a first-round caliber QB this year, as it looks like even Connor Cook might be off the board by pick 31. Big Al asks the fellas what they think about the Broncos selecting Derek Henry in the first round, and the fellas give their feedback. For the Closing Bell, D-Mac has the rest of the NBA trending up with Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors now out for two weeks. Big Al has Josh Norman Trending up with his big money deal signed with the Washington Redskins. D-Mac has Tom Brady trending down as he has no been suspended for the first four games of the season. Big Al has Justin Bieber trending down when he called himself one of the last great living performers. Big Al calls Robert Nkemdiche the best defensive lineman in the draft. The guys close the show responding to some comments made by C.J. Anderson about why he got off to a slow start last season and why he is confident he can lead the team next year.
