Elway Gives OTA Update On Super Bowl Champs: Schlereth & Evans

Schlereth & Evans – 4/22/16 – Ryan Edwards fills in for Mike Evans again as he and stink discuss Elway’s press conference from yesterday as well as Brian Hoyer’s visit with the Broncos and Von Miller’s contract. They also are joined by a trio of superstar guests that include our own Drew Goodman from Root Sports, NFL Insider Chad Brown and NFL Network’s Charlie Casserly.

Hour One kicks off with Mark and Ryan diving right into comments made and questioned answered by Broncos General Manager John Elway yesterday at Dove Valley including impressions on Brian Hoyer’s visit and an update on contract negotiations with LB Von Miller.
The guys then moved on to The Morning Brew where they talked more Brian Hoyer visit, Pat McAfee’s “random” drug test from the NFL, Cubs ace Jake Arietta throwing his second career no-hitter and Micheal Jordan and Derek Jeter teaching a young Tiger Woods how to talk to girls.
The first hour closed with Mark and Ryan giving some more thoughts things said by John Elway yesterday.
Stink “Clears The Air” to start off hour two where he explains why April Fool’s Day is extended until after the NFL Draft is over and why we shouldn’t be mad at Elway for lying to us in his answers. Check out Stink let it rip BELOW:
Our hometown guy Drew Goodman from Root Sports joins the guys to talk the ins and outs of the Colorado Rockies including the struggles of ace Jorge De La Rosa and whether his age is playing a factor in his poor performance as well as Drew’s feelings on the team as a whole and when he expects to see the Rockies young pitcher Jon Gray make his MLB debut. 4 Down Territory took place after our chat with Drew where the fellas talked more Elway answers, McAfee’s comments on 4/20, Sam Bradford upset and wanting a trade and the latest update on Josh Norman team visits including the Redskins and 49ers.

The final hour of the week sees NFL Insider Chad Brown join Stink and Ryan to discuss his thoughts and impressions of Elway’s comments yesterday including Brian Hoyer’s visit and Von Miller’s contract negotiations as well as his opinions on the QB’s in the draft and which ones he feels would be available/the best fit for the Broncos. After our discussion with Chad the gents were joined by NFL Network Senior Analyst Charlie Casserly where they chatted about Mark Sanchez and the deficiencies that could keep him from earning the starting QB job as well as discussion of draft prospects with “Red Flags” and how he (Casserly) personally evaluates players with that particular label.
