Schlereth & Evans – 4/21/16 – Ryan Edwards fills in for Mike Evans on Thursday’s show as he and Stink talk all of the craziness that was the NFL yesterday including the #2 overall pick being traded and CB Josh Norman having his franchise tag rescinded by the Carolina Panthers. ESPN Baseball expert Buster Olney joins the show to chat with Mark and Ryan about news from around the MLB.

Hour One kicked off with Mark and Ryan diving right into all of the major news that broke out of the NFL yesterday including the Browns trading the #2 overall pick to the Eagles as well as the Carolina Panthers letting one of their top defensive performers hit the free agency market.   

The guys then moved on to The Morning Brew where they talked Brian Hoyer visiting Denver today, more on the gigantic NFL news from yesterday and the Rockies 9th inning walk-off loss to the Reds. 

The gents closed the first hour with some discussion on comments made by Broncos star WR Demaryius Thomas at OTA’s yesterday.

Hour Two starts off with Mark “Clearing The Air” about why the Broncos absolutely DO NOT need another career backup QB in Brian Hoyer. The guys also analyze comments made by ESPN Insider Adam Schefter on Sandy and Stokley yesterday about what Brian Hoyer could offer the Broncos as well as where he thinks the trade for Colin Kaepernick currently stands. 

4 Down Territory took place halfway through the second hour where the gents discuss more Brian Hoyer visiting Dove Valley, comments made at Broncos OTA’s yesterday by Chris Harris and DT, the blockbuster trade made by the Browns and thoughts on where they think Josh Norman will end up signing. 

Hour 2 closed with some thoughts on comments made by CB Chris Harris at OTA’s yesterday.

Veteran ESPN Baseball analyst Buster Olney joins Mark and Ryan to chat about things going on in the world of baseball including the current standings in the home division of the NL West, his thoughts on the current NL division leaders and Tampa Bay’s ace Chris Archer struggling immensely to start the season.

The middle of the final hour consisted of a discussion where the guys contemplate as to where they think Josh Norman will land as well as if what happened to Norman could happen to Von Miller. 

Hour 3 closed with the fellas talking Rockies ad their current thoughts on the team including the ace Jorge De La Rosa scrambling to find his stuff as well as the bullpen’s and closer Jake McGee’s performances being pleasantly surprising.
