Denver’s 1-2 Punch Is Locked Up: Schlereth & Evans

Schlereth & Evans – 4/19/16 – Tuesday’s show covered the biggest stories in the NFL including the Broncos re-signing RB Ronnie Hillman and the Chiefs losing two draft picks due to tampering charges as well as news from the other big leagues including the Rockies staying hot and the latest from the NHL and NBA playoffs.
Hour One kicked off with the guys discussing the re-signing of RB Ronnie Hillman and how the Broncos expect him to fit into Coach Kubiak’s zone running system.
The Morning Brew then took place midway through hour one where the gents talked more Hillman re-signing, the Broncos opening OTA’s yesterday, the Rockies staying hot and beating Cincy last night and the latest from the NBA and NHL playoffs.
Mark and Mike closed the first hour discussing the USA Today rankings that were released on the top GM’S in the NFL and why they think Elway should have been ranked higher then he was on that list.
Hour Two pops off with Stink’s daily “Clear The Air” segment where he lets folks know how he feels about the disrespect that the defending Super Bowl 50 Champions and receiving from around the NFL. Listen to Stink let it all out HERE!
4 Down Territory then went down at 7:30 where the gents chatted more Ronnie Hillman chatter, the Kansas City Chiefs losing two draft picks due to tampering charges, top draft prospect Jaylon Smith from Notre Dame to miss the entire 2016 season and the exotic animal Robert Nkemdiche wants to make his household pet.
The guys wrapped up the second hour with talk of the National League West standings and the amazement they find themselves in with the Rockies holding a spot up top.
The last hour of Tuesday’s show started off with Mark and Mike discussing the current gap in contract negotiations between Von Miller and the Denver Broncos and whether or not the chatter of trading Von for a King’s Ransom is actually a real possibility or not.
The middle of hour three covered a few different NFL topics that included what the Cleveland Browns could do with the #2 overall pick this draft, which QB’s in this year’s draft could fall to Denver, and which veteran QB the Broncos could still trade for or sign as a free agent.
The final hour of Tuesday’s show wrapped up with some discussion of the ridiculous petition signed by over 2,000 people to bring “Tebow Time” back to Denver.
