Schlereth & Evans – 4/15/16: This week’s final show saw the guys talk all of the big-time NFL news from yesterday as both the #1 overall draft pick was traded and the entire 2016 NFL schedule was released to the public. Our NFL Insider, Chad Brown called in to lend his thoughts on the newly released Denver broncos schedule. Plus, Todd McShay of ESPN called in to talk about the Broncos draft choices.

Hour one dives right into the release of the 2016 NFL Schedule, as Mark and Mike discuss their reactions from the Broncos’ first game of the season, to the five prime time games the franchise will be participating in the upcoming season.

The Morning Brew then took place at 6:30 as the guys talked more Broncos schedule, other top NFL match ups for next season, reaction to the big trade between Tennessee and LA and the latest from the NHL playoffs.

The fellas closed the first hour with some chatter of the current Broncos QB situation and how that plays into the beginning of the 2016 schedule.

The second hour of Friday’s show started off with Stink “Clearing The Air” about all those folks who thought there was any possible chance the NFL would have scheduled any other team for the Broncos season opener other than the Carolina Panthers. Click HERE to listen.

4 Down Territory then kicked off midway through hour two where the gents talked more Broncos schedule, other marquee games on the NFL schedule, more reaction to the Rams Titans trade and Mike Mayock’s thoughts on possible #1 overall pick Carson Wentz.

Mark and Mike close the second hour with reaction from from the Total Beverage Text Line in response to Stink’s infatuation with Bills QB Tyrod Taylor.

The final hour of Schlereth & Evans started off with the guys talking more possible QB options for the Broncos including Tyrod Taylor and Colin Kaepernick and how their current contracts respectively would fit into Denver’s salary cap. 

 
They were then joined by friend of the show and NFL Insider Chad Brown where they discussed Colin Kaepernick and his current contract situation, the worst QB he ever played with in the NFL and the tough task of balancing money vs. playing on a winning team when it comes to free agency. They guys closed hour three with a visit from ESPN NFL Draft Analyst Todd McShay to talk everything 2016 NFL draft including who he thinks the Rams will take with their newly acquired first overall pick, which rookie QB he thinks will fit the Broncos franchise the best and which positions in today’s current NFL actually hold the value worthy of the #1 overall pick.
