Schlereth & Evans – 4/14/16 – Thursday’s show consisted of Mark and Mike talking all things important in the world of Sports including Golden State and Kobe as well as the NFL schedule being released and Johnny Football being dropped by his agent.
Hour One starts off with the guys sharing their thoughts and feelings from the two humongous NBA games last night. They talk Golden State and their history making performance as well as the Black Mamba showing out in his final game with 60 points.
During the Morning Brew the guys discussed a wide array of topics including the NFL schedule being released tonight, more thoughts on Kobe and the Warriors, the St. Louis Blues’ thrilling OT win last night and Nolan Arenado having a career night against the Giants.
The guys closed the first hour debating which team on the Denver Broncos schedule they think will be the opening game of the 2016 season.
Hour Two kicks off with a great “Clear The Air” segment where Stink delivers a rant on the complete silliness that is the NFL schedule release show happening tonight at 6.
Breaking News of the Titans trading the first overall pick to the LA Rams broke during this hour and the guys had a lot to say about the blockbuster trade.
4 Down Territory took place at the midpoint of the second hour where the guys chatted about the NFL schedule release, the giant trade between the Titans and Rams, the Patriots waiving a former first rounder and Johnny Manziel losing his agent due to his excessive partying.
Hour Three started with the guys being joined by ESPN baseball analyst Buster Olney to talk Trevor Story, the raised fences and it’s consequences at Coors Field as well other top stories from around the MLB including the Mets pitching, the hot start by the Baltimore Orioles and the dominance of young players around the league. The fellas were then joined by local Root Sports play-by-play analyst Drew Goodman to talk everything Rockies and then some including his thoughts on the raised fences in the Coors Field outfield, Trevor Story’s continued hitting success, as well as his impressions of the NFL trade that happened this morning and the two highly entertaining NBA games from last night.
