Melvin Gordon has a final, bizarre message for Broncos fans before leaving

After 12 fumbles in 2.5 years, the Broncos had finally had enough of Melvin Gordon.
The team cut him on Monday in a move that was long overdue. The running back’s fumble at the end of the first half against the Raiders on Sunday helped cost Denver yet another game.
On his way out the door, Gordon had one final and bizarre message for Broncos fans, photoshopping himself into the infamous O.J. Simpson police chase and calling the fans “hell.” He went on to thank them, which is odd, and said we should all be laughing together about this. Check it out, and fair warning you may need to click on the photo in the tweet to see the caption he wrote.

That’s a bit strange. It’s hard to imagine fans chuckling about all those fumbles, but Gordon was always going to be Gordon until the end. As for his teammates, Gordon said a more proper goodbye. The difference between his message to the fans and the organization / players is certainly interesting.

So, there you have it. That’s how the Melvin Gordon era wraps up in Broncos Country. Did you really expect anything different?
