The Nuggets, along with the rest of the NBA, unveiled their 2022-23 City Edition uniform on Thursday morning.
The jersey actually leaked in late October and we showed it to you then, but today we received a better view of it. The Nuggets sent out a couple of tweets featuring the uniform, including point guard Bones Hyland modeling it on the Ball Arena roof.

The main photo on this story is also a nice, clean look at the uniform, courtesy of Nike.
On the NBA’s website, they gave a little bit of background on why the jersey was designed this way.
“The Denver Nuggets 2022-23 City Edition uniform is inspired by the team’s hometown of Denver that continues to evolve – a city proud of its past, but always driving forward. This information derives its design from the city’s iconic architecture,” the description reads.
It went on to describe the color pattern featured on this uniform, one the Nuggets will wear in select games the rest of the season.
“A white base serves as a canvas ready for splashes of color, with a unique trim running throughout the collar and signature faded blue piping along the sides of the jersey. A classic city skyline patch adds a finishing touch,” the NBA says.
The Nuggets, fresh off a big comeback win in Indiana, are 8-3 on the season. They’ll continue a long road trip on Friday night in Boston. And who knows, they could be rocking their new City Edition jerseys.
