Baron Browning, Mike Boone leave Broncos game with injuries

The Denver Broncos are without two key players for the rest of the second half against the New York Jets.
Both Baron Browning and Mike Boone have left the game with injuries. The team says Browning hurt his hip, and Boone roughed up his ankle.
Browning appeared to injure his hip on this play while chasing Zach Wilson. Several Broncos missed sacks, and when Browning whiffed, he came up hobbling a bit.

These injuries come at a very bad time for both players and the team. Denver is down 10-9 in the ballgame and off to a 2-4 start before traveling to London next week. For each player, Browning is having a breakout season with 2.5 sacks and five tackles for a loss. The second-year player from Ohio State seems to have caught a groove and has been one of the better Broncos defenders this season. Meanwhile, Boone is finally getting a real chance in his sixth NFL season. With Javonte Williams lost for the year due to an ACL injury and Melvin Gordon in the doghouse, Boone has split time with veteran Latavius Murray for the lion’s share of work in the backfield.
