The Las Vegas Raiders have taken the lead over the Denver Broncos with their first defensive score in three years.
And the six points came off Broncos fumble. On what was Melvin Gordon’s first touch of the game, the veteran running back chugged for eight yards, but the pigskin slipped from his hands before he went down. The Raiders, behind an entourage, took the ball all the way for a 68-yard touchdown.

It was Gordon’s fourth fumble in four games this season. The fumble-prone 29-year-old is going through an especially tough stretch.
Gordon was listed on the injury report with a neck injury, but it was odd not to see him involved until so late in the first half. Gordon subbed on for Javonte Williams, who had just picked up a fourth down conversion.
Nobody has more fumbles as a ballcarrier or receiver over the last four years than Melvin Gordon.

The Broncos now trail 16-10, and their run game will be seen as an issue despite getting over four yards a carry in the first half.
At least Garett Bolles tried to stop the touchdown…
