The day after a lot of Broncos received bad news, some good news is starting to roll in.
Yes, everyone wants to make a 53-man roster, but the next best option is an NFL practice squad. And if you spent all of training camp with Denver, then why not stay here throughout the season? Who knows, a promotion could be in store if there’s an injury on the depth chart in front of you.
104.3 The Fan / 9NEWS Broncos insider Mike Klis has some practice squad details for the Broncos; here’s everything he’s reporting thus far.
Josh Johnson is signing back to Broncos practice squad this morning per source. He has 9 years of NFL service time so his pro-rated practice-squad salary will be in 300K neighborhood. Broncos continue with same 3 QBs they’ve had since March. #9sports

The practice squad can be up to 16 players, so the names above are a significant chunk of who will be on that unit, with a few more guys possibly trickling in. Although the Broncos sent a story out saying they’ve signed the 13 listed above… for now. Usually the team releases details once they’re finished.
We've signed 13 players to our practice squad.
