It’s a good news Monday in Broncos Country.
Mere minutes after it was reported the team is signing inside linebacker Joe Schobert, the Broncos are adding internal reinforcements as well. 104.3 The Fan and 9NEWS Broncos insider Mike Klis says two key free agents are coming off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
Good news for Broncos. OLB Randy Gregory has been activated from PUP per source. He’ll do limited work but ready to go after shoulder surgery. #9sports

Gregory was Denver’s biggest free agent addition of the offseason. The Broncos gave the former Cowboys pass-rusher a five-year, $70 million deal to hopefully wreak havoc on the edge along with Bradley Chubb. Turner, who protected Aaron Rodgers the last several seasons in Green Bay, is the hopeful starter at right tackle.
Both are coming off offseason surgeries, with Gregory battling a shoulder ailment and Turner getting his knee worked on. With the Week 1 Monday Night Football showdown in Seattle still four week away, this news is a good sign both could be available.
The Broncos still have two preseason games left, so we’ll see if either Gregory or Turner gets any game action. But even if they don’t, a debut against the Seahawks doesn’t appear to be out of the question for either.
