Want to see the Avs win the Cup? The ticket prices are outrageous

Jun 23, 2022, 2:10 PM | Updated: 6:05 pm

The Colorado Avalanche have a chance to hoist the Stanley Cup on Friday, and you have an opportunity to be there!

Game 5 is in Denver, and if you’re willing to give an arm and leg, you could be at Ball Arena.

Here’s a look at the “get in the door” prices from a few sites people buy tickets on (and this is without the big fees that can also be charged):

StubHub: $1,495.00
Ticketmaster: $1,450.00
Seatgeek: $1,199
TickPick: $1,658
VividSeats: $1,339

According to StubHub, sitting in the first deck on the side where the Avs shoot twice will cost you at least $3,000.

The Avs have not clinched a playoff series at home since 2008. The 2001 Stanley Cup win was at home, it was the lone time a Colorado team won a title in Denver.

Denver will be going crazy Friday night and for those who can’t get in to the game there’s a watch party across the street and Denver Fan is hosting another at Number 38 in RiNo.

If Colorado can’t clinch on Friday, Game 6 is Tampa on Sunday and then Game 7 is back in Denver next Tuesday.

Let's start with the obvious, if it's Vegas the series will begin here; if it's Dallas, the Avalanche will head to Texas for Games 1 and 2
