Watch: Gritty Landeskog goal gives Avalanche early Game 3 lead

Jun 20, 2022, 6:54 PM

Once again, the Colorado Avalanche are on the board first.

Captain Gabriel Landeskog scored the first goal of Game 3, a power play tally with a gritty effort in front of the net. You can watch it below:

The Landeskog goal was actually the second puck of the first period that found the back of the Tampa Bay net. The Avs had their first “goal” called off by a very close offside after a Tampa Bay challenge.

The Lightning have since tied Game 1 up 1-1, and it’s now late in the first period.
