David Roddy will stay in this month’s NBA Draft, he announced on Twitter Wednesday.
Colorado State’s star player led the Rams in his junior season to the NCAA Tournament. He scored 19.2 points, grabbed 7.5 rebounds and threw 2.9 assists per game over 31 contests this season.
Originally from Minnesota, Roddy is expected to be drafted late in the first round or early in the second.

Once selected Roddy will be the third Rams hoops player drafted since the turn of century, joining Colton Iverson and Jason Smith. Smith, a big man, arguably had the best pro career among all CSU alumni.
Roddy is known for his stout body, and scoring touch.
The Rams return a solid roster to campus in the fall but take a big hit talent-wise with Roddy pursuing his dream.
