The Aaron Rodgers saga has finally reached a conclusion.
And his future won’t involve the Denver Broncos.
After weeks of speculation about the future of the Green Bay QB, he will be returning to the Packers.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network first broke the news on Tuesday morning.
The #Packers and MVP QB Aaron Rodgers have agreed to terms on a 4-year, $200M deal that makes him the highest paid player in NFL history, sources say. He gets a whopping $153M guaranteed and his cap number goes down. A monstrous commitment by GB for years to come. 💰 💰 💰

This was no easy decision. Rodgers considered retirement and the #Broncos. In the end, the #Packers get it done. They commit to Aaron Rodgers for many years. https://t.co/4Mf7rcmHej

Rodgers, who has been the Packers starter since 2008, is a surefire Hall of Famer and one of the best QBs in NFL history. His postseason failures have been well documented in recent years, as the Packers have appeared in just one Super Bowl during his 14 years as a starter in Green Bay.
Rodgers’ future had been a source of constant speculation since the first night of the 2021 NFL Draft when rumors swirled he wanted out of Green Bay. The Broncos were consistently speculated as a top landing spot for Rodgers both last offseason and this one, but ultimately weren’t chosen by the Green Bay star.
