On the football field, Drew Lock has his offensive linemen. But on the highways of Kansas, thankfully the Denver Broncos quarterback had his windshield on Wednesday.
Per the Kansas Highway Patrol on Twitter, Lock’s windshield blocked an errant lug nut flying across the median so hard nearly went all the way through the glass.
Lock, who did not appear injured by the incident, posed for photos with troopers afterward.
You never know who you can help as a @kshighwaypatrol Trooper.
Today it was @DrewLock23 (Denver Broncos-QB) 🙂

The wayward lug nut may have cast its vote in the Broncos quarterback competition, but Lock still has a few weeks to prepare for his battle with Teddy Bridgewater for the Broncos starting job.
Heading into his third NFL season, the second-round pick out of Missouri is coming off his first full season as a starter, wherein he threw for 2,933 yards, 16 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 13 starts.
