For eight seasons, Nolan Arenado patrolled the hot corner at 20th and Blake.
On Thursday, the All-Star third baseman will return to Coors Field for the first time since being traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in February.
And to mark the occasion, the Colorado Rockies will honor their former star with a video tribute, per Denver Post Insider Patrick Saunders.
I’m told that the #Rockies will honor #Cardinals Nolan Arenado with a video when he returns to Coors Field tomorrow.

A second-round draft pick by Colorado in the 2009 MLB Draft, Arenado had spent his entire career with the Rockies organization until this offseason.
During his Major League tenure with Colorado, Arenado was selected to five All-Star games, won eight Gold Gloves, won four Silver Sluggers and was a perennial MVP candidate.
In 78 games for the Cardinals through Wednesday, Arenado has 16 home runs, 52 RBIs and a slash line of .270/.324 /.520.
