Deshaun Watson will likely have his choice of where he wants to play this season, and one of those destinations could be in Denver.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Watson has a list of team’s he’s ‘intrigued’ by and the Broncos, alongside the San Francisco 49ers, are on the shortlist.

"Deshaun Watson has a list of teams he's 'intrigued by' … I didn't get all the teams, but I was told that the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers are two of them. … I was told the Jets, 'eh probably not.'" pic.twitter.com/8YOmTbF3zw

Former Texans teammate Kareem Jackson has been lobbying hard to get the quarterback to Denver. In a video interview with TMZ Sports, the defensive back said Watson has told him “that Denver is a place that he’s interested in landing.”
After the haul the Detroit Lions got for quarterback Matthew Stafford, the price tag of getting Watson likely went up. The Rams sent first-round picks in 2022 and ’23, a third-round pick this year and Goff to the Lions in exchange for Stafford. If that was the asking price for Stafford it’s likely the Texans are going to demand more.
So will George Paton be willing to pay?
Many of The Fan hosts believe Watson will cost a king’s ransom, but that the Broncos should be in all conversations about the young quarterback.
