Could rival Raiders boxout Broncos on Deshaun Watson?

As the battle for Deshaun Watson unfolds, another intriguing twist might see the all-pro quarterback landing with the rival Las Vegas Raiders rather than Denver Broncos.

Per Vincent Bonsignore, Raiders reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, NFL sources expect Las Vegas to take calls on quarterback Derek Carr, which could open up the doors for a pursuit of Watson.

The report comes on the heels of the blockbuster trade over the weekend that sent Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams for Jared Goff and a haul of first round picks.

The Broncos were did make an offer to the Lions for Stafford, but were not a consideration in the talks.

But with Stafford off the table, and no real other viable option at quarterback, 104.3 The Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey says the Broncos should be “all-in” on Watson.
