The Drive with DMac & Tom Nalen LIVE IN STUDIO!!!
The guys talk about the Bomb Cyclone, and DMac takes calls from listeners that are out & about delivering packages and plowing the roads. Antonio Brown cleans up for the Raiders, and Tom Nalen mentions taking the pressure off Baker with easy throws to Odell Beckham.
DMac says all eyes are on Von Miller now, and you would never take Von Miller over John Elway. Also, we hear from Kyler Murray as his Pro Day wrapped up today. DMac says Kyler Murray may have just put on water weight for the NFL Combine, and Charley Casserly has a particular opinion about Kyler.
The bomb cyclone tightens its grip on Colorado, and Tom Nalen tells a story about rolling into Buffalo. Tom tells DMac he prefers watching the NFL Combine to individual player Pro Days.
Tom Nalen is excited about the plan to go with Flacco, and says there is no continuity with the Broncos staff & that hurts the QB. DMac says word on the street is that Ja’Wuan James is soft, and can be bull-rushed. DMac feels like the Broncos reached on Ja’Wuan James because things fell apart with Billy Turner.
A caller says he believes in Vic Fangio, and gives John Elway credit for trying. DMac & Tom Nalen argue about how much time John Elway has left as GM of the Denver Broncos.
DMac continues to look for snow plow drivers, and the guys talk longevity when it comes to NFL centers. DMac asks Tom what the Broncos will miss the most about Matt Paradis.
DMac says nobody wants to see the Robert Kraft video, but he’s had a great life. The guys talk the importance of getting in shape, and fake laughs at Kyler Murray’s presser. Tom says the Broncos swapped the Texans Kareem Jackson for Bradley Roby, and maybe Jackson is the answer to the TE problems the Broncos have had.
DMac laughs at Jose Canseco for making fun of Alex Rodriguez on twitter & telling Tim Tebow he can fix his swing. Tom Nalen says Jose Canseco struck out too much to be a hitting coach. Also, DMac talks about where baseball is going & putting the shift on against Bryce Harper.
